Competing on the same night, Pleasantville’s boys’ and girls’ track teams are in two different locations for their Thursday meets. The Trojan girls are over at Lynnville-Sully, and the boys go near Des Moines into Saydel. Pleasantville’s guys were very sharp at the Pella Christian Invitational just two nights ago. Relays have been an early strength for the Trojans, as they are already posting times that are quicker than what they clocked in at the end of the 2014 season. Coach Gabe Bakker says it has been the guys’ work away from the track that has helped them reap the benefits through the early going of 2015. First events at both locations are scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
