There are three weeks left until the annual Tulip Time celebration in Pella.
Burgermeister Randy Sikkema tells KNIA/KRLS News that many tulip beds are already coming in due to a fairly mild spring. He expects a colorful celebration this May, but adds that many plants are blooming a bit early. Sikkema is hopeful for cooler, wetter weather in the coming weeks, which he says will help slow the growth in time for May 7th.
