Giving Pella’s boys their greatest test of the season thus far, Indianola’s soccer team forced overtime and eventually penalty kicks before the Little Dutch triumphed in the end. Seth Johnson scored in the 20″ with an assist to Christian Hamilton, but the game was tied at 1 – 1 after 80 minutes plus overtime. Chase Petty came up with the final stop and Pella won in penalty kicks, 5 – 4, to stay unbeaten at 5 – 0 on the season. They’ll play tomorrow in the Roosevelt Roughrider Tournament at the Cownie Soccer Complex in Des Moines.
