Work continues on the Young’s Park Miracle Playground and Knoxville Morning Kiwanis’ Ernie Smith says they’re hopeful to get the final phases of the project completed this fall.
Smith says the final two parts of the playground, which will include wheelchair ramps and a play area for children ages 5 to 12, are expected to start sometime in September. He says the Kiwanis need about $70,000 dollars more to help complete the project and one way they’ll earn that money is by selling named bricks that will be placed around the playground.
Name bricks are $150 each. If you’d like to go the Kiwanis Miracle-Playground Facebook page, click here.
