The Veterans Administration responded to a letter written by Iowa’s U.S. Congressional leaders regarding delays with the Knoxville Community Based Outpatient Clinic.

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst helped write the letter and explains that the VA says there are ongoing issues with the Office of Management. She’s not satisfied with that answer, saying the facility should have been opened months ago.
The VA is expecting to start seeing patients at the new CBOC facility in the summer or fall of 2017.
