The Pella School Board has approved a contract for traffic flow improvements to Jefferson Intermediate School.
TK Concrete will construct the new drop-off lane from East 8th Street to the west side of the building for just over $522,000. Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the goal is to ease the heavily congested area near Jefferson and the middle school. Work is expected to be completed by the first day of classes in August.
