Able to get it all in before the rain came down, Pella High and Pella Christian each looked strong at Caldwell Park on Saturday for the Lady Dutch invitational tennis tournament. Oskaloosa won the event by ten points over Pella, 162 – 152, while the Eagles were fourth with 137. There was a Pella name in the top three places for the singles’ portion of the tourney; Andrea De Bruin was first and Lily Roozeboom was second in Flight 1, while Rachel Tvedt took the top spot in Flight 2. Andrea Carballo and Abbie Vander Molen won Flight 1 doubles, while Anna Jaarsma-Anne Williamson and Elyse Sadler-Cecily Johnson were victorious in Flight 2 and 3, respectively.
