A sweep for a win and one for a loss was taken by the Pella Christian girls’ tennis team in Saturday’s first and second rounds of the Class 1A regional team tournament. The Eagles began on the right foot in the quarterfinals, taking it to Centerville, 5 – 0, winning all five singles matches in straight sets. Unfortunately, waiting on the other side was Grinnell, who has been strong all season long, and they showed it in a 5 – 0 sweep of the Eagles in the semifinals. Full results can be found listed below. The season is not over for PC, as they’ll host the Class 1A individual tournament this Thursday.
