A bit of wind didn’t keep Pella Christian’s Graham Howerzyl from being the meet medalist at Monday’s Eagle Invitational boys’ golf tournament. The underclassman shot an impressive 79 to lead his Eagles and lead the field yesterday. PC shot a 357 and finished sixth as a team. Backing up Howerzyl was Mitch Fopma, who came up with a score of 91. Williamsburg won with a 340, and right there with them and a very talented field was Pella, who shot a 350. Corey Elliott and Jack Meyer each came up with an 87 for the Little Dutch, and four guys shot sub-90 for the day. PCM sent some younger guys out for the PC Invite.
