Starting the day in second place in the decathlon, Central men’s track standout, Eric Larson, closed out his impressive collegiate career with another line on his resume, earning All-American status by finishing sixth at the NCAA Division III National Meet in New York. Larson put up 6,695 points which was good enough to give him his fifth all-American honor and first since 2013 when he finished first in both the heptathlon and decathlon. Dan Roemerman qualified for the finals in the 110 meter high hurdles in a school-record time of 14.45, breaking the previous school-best by .03 set ten years ago. Abi Davis was 11th in the 100-meter dash preliminaries, just .03 out of qualifying for the finals. Only two events remain on the docket for the Dutch today: Roemerman in the 110 hurdles final, and Eli Horton competing in the 5,000.
