It was a new experience for first-year head coach, Ryun Ferrell, being at the helm of a men’s tennis program at Central, as he had primarily been a women’s coach in years past. However, the eccentric Dutch skipper helped bring out the best in his returning players for the 2014-15 season. With three seniors, Josh Forst, Tim Kahl, and Collin Schares, the Dutch accomplished everything they set out to do this year. Ferrell adds that it was not just the seniors that pushed the team along this year, and that the 2015-16 team will be a very, very young team, but also driven and talented.
