The hits were there once again, but not at the right times for Knoxville at Oskaloosa on Tuesday night. The Panthers lost for the first time this season by the final score of 8-4. Knoxville outhit the Indians, but trailed 8-0 going into the seventh inning. The Panthers left 13 runners on base during the game including the bases loaded twice. Tony Salato, Kevin Woodhouse, Jared McClung and Austin Little all had two hits each. Left-handed sophomore starting pitcher Cam Liston took the loss on the hill. Knoxville is now 6-1 on the season and will resume South Central Conference play on Wednesday night at Chariton.
