Authorities arrested a Melcher-Dallas woman suspected of stealing over $1000 worth of items from a Chariton home.

47-year-old Lisa Deanne Storey has been charged with 2nd degree theft, a Class D felony. According to court documents, the victim drove past Storey’s home while she was having a yard sale and contacted police after believing he’d found his stolen items.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Friday, June 12th. Storey is also facing possible burglary charges in Lucas County.
