There have been many changes at the Lake Red Rock Hydroelectric Construction Site.
Vern Cochran with Missouri River Energy Services says many will notice large equipment that has been moved to the North Overlook parking area. He says work on the upstream side of the dam has shifted to the structure that will eventually channel water into the intake structure, which will funnel into the turbine. The cofferdam and closure dike on the downstream side of the dam are nearly complete, which will help keep water out of the site during the excavation and construction of the powerhouse.
