The Pella City Council plans to begin the process of reconstructing the road that includes the main entrance to Pella Regional Health Center at tonight’s meeting.
They will set a public hearing date to seek bids for the Jefferson Street Reconstruction Project, which covers the area from East 2nd to Hazel. The $416,000 plan includes street work, widening of the road, and the replacement of an 8″ water main with a new 12″ water main. The council will also hear an update from the police department during policy and planning. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
