
Knoxville Police arrested a man who allegedly brandished a firearm at a person while driving drunk.
60-year-old Harold Dean Bennett has been charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a Class D felony, operating while intoxicated, and possession of a controlled substance among other charges.
According to court documents, the victim told police Bennett was in an orange truck and drove by the 100 block of West Main Street Wednesday afternoon, when he pointed what looked to be a gun at the victim and left. When police went to Bennett’s home they discovered a BB gun, which looked like a real gun, in his vehicle.
Bennett is scheduled to be in court on Friday, June 26th.
