A former Pella band teacher accused of sexually exploiting a former Pella High student faces additional charges in Floyd County for a series of incidents with a 15 year old Charles City girl.
Sources says that Benjamin Thompson, 31, was arrested on Saturday and charged with three counts of 3rd degree sexual abuse. In 2011, police say Thompson sent texts and skyped with the victim, and then met her in a remote location for sex. Earlier this month, Thompson was arrested for an incident and a series of messages involving a former Pella High School student in May 2014. He’s being held without bond in Floyd County Jail.
