Main Street in Knoxville is expected to reopen this weekend.

During the latest Streetscape meeting it was announced that pavement markings will be done on Friday, weather permitting, with the street being opened later that day.
Assistant City Manager Aaron Adams says a good stretch of weather and planning ahead helped get work along Main Street completed ahead of schedule.
Work on Robinson Street continues to move forward with the finishing touches being put on the laterals and grids. It’s expected that Robinson could be rocked and concrete poured as early as next week. It’s still expected to open after July 4th.
The next Streetscape meeting will be held on July 7th at Knoxville City Hall beginning at 10am.
