A total of $17,000 dollars was awarded by the Knoxville Community Heritage Foundation for three area projects.

The Marion County Historical Society was awarded $3,000 for a microfilm project, the Knoxville Rec Center will use the $7,000 they were give towards their expansion project, and the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Foundation was presented with $7,000 that will be put towards telemedicine technologies.
Heritage Foundation President Park Woodle says it’s the 30th anniversary they’ve been in existence and they’re honored to help out these organizations with their projects.
