The Melcher-Dallas softball team was able to hit the ball on Thursday night, but was unable to muster any runs as they fell on the road to Seymour 1-0. Kaylee Houston went 1-2 with a double and Hallie Parker added a triple on a 1-3 night from the plate. Despite the loss, the saints are starting to play together as a team and hit the ball well and have confidence in their play. They are 8-14 on the year and will take the field on Saturday as they host a four team tournament at Melcher-Dallas.
