The PCM softball team got hot at the right time during the second half of season and ended the regular season with a 21-10 record. The Lady Mustangs will starts postseason play tonight at home against Davis County, who is 9-25 on the year. It has been several players on the offensive sides of things that have led this PCM team throughout the year. Senior Molly Vignovich leads the team with a .383 batting average and Jayci Vos leads the team with 11 doubles, 20 RBIs and 12 stolen bases. Rachel Freland has been strong in the circle with a 15-9 record and 119 strike outs. Head coach Whitney Plein is excited with her teams play going into the postseason and hopes they continue to do right things in the postseason (Actuality). The first pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Monroe.
