Repairs have been completed to the storm sewer on Larson Street in Knoxville, but that was just one of several ongoing repair projects the city has recently took on.

Assistant City Manager Aaron Adams told the Knoxville City Council Monday that storm sewer issues have cropped up on 2nd Street, at 3rd Street and Marion, and on the 600 block of Competine Drive. He says with all the recent rain, some of the older infrastructure is starting to show its age.

Adams added that the nearly $13,000 in repairs came in under previous estimates, which he attributes to the work of the Knoxville Public Works Department.
