“Life is a Highway” was the theme of this week’s Thursdays in Pella festivities.

Dozens of classic cars and motorcycles were displayed on the downtown square along Franklin Street. The Union Street Players took to the Tulip Toren stage to preview their summer performance of Fiddler on the Roof. Balloonfest committee members also inflated a balloon and held crew training ahead of this weekend’s event at Lake Red Rock. Pella Historical Society held their traditional Kermis games in Central Park.
