Three items are on the agenda for a special work session that the Knoxville City Council will hold today.

The council will discuss applicants for the new tourism committee, figure out a funding mechanism for the local match portion of a commitment to 3M’s expansion project, and how to best fill the soon-to-be vacant city manager position.

The special session will take place at City Hall beginning at 6:15pm.
