A rural Leighton man facing multiple felony charges has entered his plea in Mahaska County.

Rick Langstraat, 49, pled not guilty to possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a class B felony, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, a class C felony, and possession of a firearm as a felon, among other charges. In May, members of the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant at 1176 Old Hwy 92 in rural Leighton and placed Langstraat into custody. A jury trial is set to begin on November 10th.
