First Presbyterian Church in Knoxville will hold a Parent’s Night Out on Friday, July 24th.

Organizer Trevor Pettyjohn said he and his wife, Emilee, got the idea from churches in West Des Moines who’ve been doing something similar. He says there are not many child care options during the weekend and being able have an adult night out is important to young parents.

Pettyjohn says they’ll provide activities for the children, such as a dunk tank and kickball, as well as arts and crafts. A meal will also be provided.

The event will be from 5:30pm to 9:30pm at First Presbyterian Church. Sign up information for Parent’s Night Out is available below:
