The Army Corps of Engineers is hosting free outdoor activities this weekend.

Stargazing 101 sessions are set for Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m. at Whitebreast Campground. Dr. Lee Wymore, amateur stargazer and biology teacher at Indian Hills Community College, will teach others how to identify stars and constellations in the Milky Way galaxy. The Park Rangers will also hold Let’s Go Paddling from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Park Ranger Tracy Spry says it’s a chance to experience both canoeing and kayaking.
