The English Creek near Knoxville has topped its banks after heavy rain passed through the area. The stream rose more than 10 feet from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. this morning.

Other area creeks filled up rapidly as well, including Cedar and Whitebreast, which each rose roughly twelve feet in the same time frame. They have yet to reach flood stage.
