A not guilty plea has been entered by an Indianola man accused of breaking into a Pleasantville home last week.
47-year-old Steven Jack Stout has been charged with 2nd degree burglary, a Class C felony, and 2nd degree criminal mischief, a Class D felony.
According to court documents, Stout broke into a home on Monroe Street early on the morning of July 7th and told the occupants to leave. The residents fled for their safety after asking Stout to leave several times. He then proceeded to break numerous items within the home, including a window, glass door, and toilet seat.
Stout’s next court date has not been set.
