Progress continues on the expansion and remodeling project at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics.

CEO Kevin Kincaid says the project is about halfway completed and they anticipate being finished by the end of the year.

Areas that have been completed include half of the operating room (OR) areas and the new endoscopy suite. Kincaid says one more O.R. needs to be done, along with work on the emergency room. He says a project of this magnitude has multiple schedules, with some ahead and some behind.
