Decorating for Nationals is already getting underway in Knoxville.

Window paintings of sprint cars are going up on Knoxville businesses, courtesy of Frosty Harrington.

Frosty has been painting windows leading up to Nationals for over a decade. He started painting and pinstriping race cars and streetcars while working as a meat cutter at HyVee.

Frosty says he loves to paint and is glad he’s asked every year to put his designs on windows of Knoxville businesses.

The Knoxville Nationals will take place August 10th through the 15th.
