For the second time this week, many were without power for hours on Saturday.
According to MidAmerican Energy, more than 3100 customers were without power after an outage at 9 a.m. A representative tells KNIA/KRLS news that there was an issue with a large substation in the county, and crews were on site by 9:30 working to restore power.
The outage shut down traffic lights along Highway 14 north of Knoxville Raceway, and temporary stop signs were put into place.
Many businesses and homes were without power, including Wal-Mart, which remained closed for the day.
