This week’s Thursdays in Pella was all about the world of literature with the theme “Once Upon a Town.”

Members of the Red Rock Retro Radio Theatre performed a show on the Tulip Toren Stage. Thursdays in Pella Committee member Sherri Call and her son Isaac were reading Dr. Seuss stories to other children. They say it was fun to share some of their favorites. Garrit Visser was among a group of local authors who showcased their works downtown. He wrote Jeff the Turtle, and shared the story with kids. Visser says he enjoys particularly writing for children.
