Only two names on the 2015 Pella Christian baseball roster will be absent when the 2016 season gets going next summer. Though the Eagles will lose quite a bit of talent in the departure of Jason Holwerda and Dillon Branderhorst, the supporting cast that helped to propel them to the district semifinals and a 13 – 17 record will all be back as mainly upperclassmen. In fact, the only seniors-to-be that Coach Nate Johnson returns are Josh Rolffs, Clay Stravers, and Ben Bouwcamp. Johnson says the value of experience from having juniors and seniors on the team cannot be understated. He adds that he hopes his athletes hit the weight room to improve in various areas to get them ready to go for next season.
