The nine seniors on the Knoxville Baseball Squad were key for many reasons. One was their athletic ability…and another was how close each player was to each other. Coach Joel Johnson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he put his trust in them and they in turn put their trust in him. Johnson adds they worked hard to get to where they wanted to be. While the Panthers were ousted in the first round of the district, Johnson says not many teams can say they won 28 games, and won 17 games in their conference season.
