In what truly was a hearty exclamation point to the end of an impressive, and quick, 2014-15 school and athletics year, a few more punctuation marks were added to the end of that sentence yesterday, when eight baseball players from Marion County were selected to the All-State team. Knoxville standouts Tony Salato and Kevin Woodhouse, Pleasantville’s Zeb Adreon and Josh Luna, Twin Cedars’ Otis Roby, and Pella’s Grant Judkins, Tanner Wood, and Marcus Wittmer were the octet that found their names on the list. Of those eight, four will be playing in the 2015 All-Star Game for the small schools squads. Luna from the Trojans will participate on the West Team, while Salato, Woodhouse, and Roby are a part of the East Team. Sabers’ coach, Matt Miller, will serve as an assistant for the East side.
