A boy who’s been missing from his Swan home since Monday afternoon has been found safe.

Marion County Sheriff Jason Sandholdt tells KNIA/KRLS News that 13-year-old Dalton Joseph Tucker was found at Jordan Creek Mall in Des Moines Wednesday morning.

Search efforts began Tuesday afternoon and focused on Marion, Warren, and Polk Counties. Sandholdt says Dalton was reportedly picked up by a stranger at one point.

Dalton’s family and Sheriff Sandholdt want to thank the community for their tips and efforts in helping locate the missing juvenile.
