An Attica man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexual abuse in Marion County Court this morning.

38-year old Danny Ray Cunningham Jr. pled guilty in May to three counts of 3rd degree sexual abuse, each a Class C felony. He was sentenced to 10 years for each of three counts, with two counts to be served consecutively. He will be on parole for the rest of his life after being released from prison, and must complete sex offender treatment. He also must register as a sex offender when released. Cunningham was arrested in April for incidents that took place between January and April of this year with a victim age 14 or 15. He wept and apologized prior to sentencing.
