Many throughout the New Sharon community and the state of Iowa are looking to support the family of three juveniles that died in a car crash near New Sharon. On Thursday, 16-year-old Jamie Singletary, 13-year-old Carson Singletary, and 10-year-old Christian Singletary, all of New Sharon, were killed in a collision at the intersection of Queens Ave and 130th Street in Mahaska County.

U.S. Bank is collecting donations, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the family. A representative with the branch tells KNIA/KRLS News that any donations can be made at any U.S. Bank location, including New Sharon and Pella, by contributing to the Sara Hicklin account. As of 3:30 p.m. Saturday, more than $40,000 was raised for the family.
