English Creek Speedway will hold a fundraiser during the 2015 Outlaw Dirt Kart Nationals.

9-year-old racer Jury Ellis is part of the Lids for Life event, where drivers will ask people for donations to the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation Kick*It to Cancer program.

Jury says the driver who earns the most money for the program will get to have ice cream at Kone Korner with sprint car driver Shane Stewart. He says he’s tried to raise as much money as he can for the foundation because all the proceeds go towards children’s cancer.

The fundraising event will take place today and Tuesday.
