A man is scheduled to be arraigned for stabbing a woman he was living with in Knoxville back in June.

45-year-old Corey Eugene Goemaat has been charged with willful injury resulting in bodily injury, a Class D felony, and domestic abuse assault.

According to court documents, Goemaat assaulted his domestic partner by stabbing her with a knife six times in the leg and once in the arm.

His arraignment is set for today.
