Megan Northcote in the Surgery department at Pella Regional Health Center was selected as July Shining Star by co-workers.

The Knoxville resident was recognized for assisting with a C-section while she wasn’t on-call. Shining Star is a reward and recognition program at Pella Regional designed to acknowledge an employee each month that demonstrates outstanding standards of behavior. Northcote will receive $100, a plaque, and will automatically be nominated for the Shining Star of the Year award.
