The biggest four nights of the sprint car season has arrived, and for over 100 drivers, the goal is to give themselves a chance at the title of Knoxville Nationals Champion. While Donny Schatz is the heavy favorite, several other drivers are looking to put their name on the elite list of winners. Knoxville Weekly Driver Brian Brown, who has finished second to Schatz the last two years, has not had the season he has wanted but says it does not matter what happens the rest of season, if you put it together at the Nationals, everyone forgets what you did the rest of the season. Another driver who could challenge on Saturday is Shane Stewart, who picked up much needed momentum with his win Sunday in the Capitani Classic. Kerry Madsen, Danny Lasoski, and Ohio Driver Dale Blaney are also looked on as top contenders on Saturday night. You can hear every lap of this year’s Knoxville Nationals on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA and streamed live at kniakrls.com beginning with Live Track Side at five, followed M-R-N Radio’s Winged Nation at six, and Race Nights Live at seven.
