Emergency crews responded to an incident in rural Leighton late Wednesday evening. At approximately 7:55 p.m., Pella Ambulance and Pella Rural Fire received a call from Mahaska County and assisted at the scene along Highway 163 near mile marker 51. The Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office and Mahaska County Ambulance also responded. KNIA/KRLS News will have more details as soon as they become official.
