A Knoxville man accused of felony assault on officers and a host of other charges has been given three years’ probation.
50-year-old Jeffery Allen Morrow pled guilty in March to domestic abuse assault, assaulting an officer, and 1st degree harassment.
According to court documents, police responded to a call at a Fourth Street home on February 16th about a man who threatened to stab a female subject in the face with a fork.
As police attempted to place Morrow under arrest, he resisted, kicking two officers. The argument reportedly was due to the victim saying she would turn off the internet to their home so Morrow could no longer play online video games.
His sentence had been delayed so that he could continue mental health treatment. In addition to probation, Morrow must also pay more than $1500 in fines.
