An open house for the new Career Academy of Pella will take place Monday.

The new facility adjacent to Pella High School will be open from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with a dedication scheduled for 5:30. The $5.5 million building will be ready for the first day of classes on August 24th. The district plans to offer courses in welding, nursing, and construction trades, among other subjects, to high school students through community partners
