The Pella City Council will look to begin the process of expanding the city’s trail system at their meeting tonight.

They will review an engineering agreement for the proposed trail extending from Madison Elementary through the new Pella Sports Park to Vermeer Corporation. The council will also look to set a public hearing and begin plans for the replacement of a major sewer line near Clark Street. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex.
