Incumbent Knoxville School Board member Mike Helle likes the direction the school district is going and says it’s important to him that Knoxville have the best possible schools.

Helle says Superintendent Cassi Murra was given specific instructions on the way the board wanted the school district to move forward and she’s done what they’ve asked. He says the board needs to continue to support Murra’s vision of the district over the next few years.

Incumbent Leslie Miller and former Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Larissa Van Donselaar are also running for the Knoxville School Board. Elections will take place on Tuesday, September 8th.
