Tomorrow and Saturday, the real countdown begins for many of the state’s high school football teams, as they will be scrimmaging other schools as their final preparations are being made for the 2015 season. Two of our area schools, Pella Christian and Knoxville, will be battling one another on Friday night in the Tulip City. The Panthers and Eagles had their “football expo” last year at this time, and as Eagles’ Coach Rich Kacmarynski tells us, he has a special connection with the Panthers’ new head man. Kacmarynski adds his Eagles grew a lot last year after their scrimmage with the Panthers and he expects the same thing this year. Pella Christian will host Knoxville for their scrimmage tomorrow night starting at 7:00 p.m.
