One person was seriously injured in a rollover crash near Dutchman’s Landing.

The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Friday on Highway G28. An occupant in the lone black SUV required extraction and was transported by Mercy One helicopter to Des Moines. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Pella Ambulance and Pella Rural Fire assisted with the rescue. The cause remains under investigation.
